ADRIAN- Carolyn Sue "Suzi" Bradley, age 66, of Adrian died Sunday afternoon, May 25, 2025, at MediLodge of Grand Blanc, after a lengthy battle with ALS. Born April 17, 1959, in Adrian, she was the daughter of the late William and Thelma (Freeman) Bradley.
Suzi was a 1977 graduate of Adrian High School and later studied at Siena Heights University, where she ultimately earned a Master's Degree in Psychology. She selflessly enlisted in the Army National Guard, but was unfortunately unable to serve due to a health ailment. A lifelong Adrian resident, she was most recently employed at Inteva Products in Adrian. Suzi was previously married to William James Sheldon, also of Adrian. Even though the marriage ended, they still respectfully cared for each other.
A devoted Christian, Suzi was a faithful member of Bethany Assembly of God and treated everyone with the love of Jesus, and was always giving of herself and helping those in need. She loved her family and was always positive, smiling even amid her recent health challenges.
Surviving are three children, Christopher Hamilton, William Terrance (Cassie) Hamilton, and Jessica Hamilton, all of Adrian; four grandchildren, Johnathan Betz, Arianna Hamilton, Jeremiah Hamilton, and Harper Hamilton; siblings, Larry Bradley of Jamestown, TN, Shary (Larry) Davis of Lander, WY, Linda Wilson of Britton, MI, Lois Tripp of Adrian, Nancy (Chris) O'Connor of Adrian, Billy (Toni) Bradley of Clayton, John (Melodie) Bradley of Adrian, Mary (Ron) Kidd of Jasper, Linda Cole of Adrian, and Sheri Sanchez of Adrian; sister-in-law, Crystal Markwell of Adrian; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Bradley; mother, Thelma Markwell; and three brothers, Gene Bradley, David Markwell and Chad Markwell.
The family will receive friends for visitation at the Anderson-Marry Funeral Home in Adrian on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until a funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Ron Sparks will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
