A proud veteran, Steven held active memberships with the local American Legion, VFW, AmVets and the Eagles. In his younger years he belonged to local leagues for bowling, golfing, and pool. He was meticulous about his lawncare and the upkeep of his cars, and always had a huge heart for animals.
