Carolyn Lynette Call

Carolyn Lynette Call, 97 of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025, at Trinity Medical Center/Valley Hospice. She was born on April 9, 1928, in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio, the daughter of the late, Robert R. and Maude (Martin) Thomas.
Carolyn was a retired Postmaster for both the Mt. Pleasant Post Office and Maynard Post Office. She was a devout member of the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, where she was in the church choir and Bell Choir, a member of the Mt. Pleasant Historical Society and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, her spirit of charity and dedication was constant throughout her life. She was an avid quilter and was a faithful follower of The Ohio State Buckeyes.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Call, in 2001, sons, Charles A. Call, David L. Call, daughter in law, Cindy Call, grandson, Douglas Bradford, son in law, Earl Brown, siblings, Martin Thomas, Ruth Heil, Monroe Thomas, and Donna Sterling and her lifelong best friend, Jean Thompson.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Thomas R. (Marlene) Call, Carole Brown, and Robert R. (Angela) Call, 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren complete her family.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 4-8pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, Ohio 43917. Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 12 till time of service at 1 pm at the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, 123 Union St., Mt. Pleasant, Ohio 43939, officiated by Pastor Loraine Dill. Burial will be at Holly Memorial Gardens.
The family wants to thank the staff of both the Meadows of Cadiz and Valley Hospice for their compassionate and loving care for their mother, Carolyn.
