Carolyn Blanche Chipman

Carolyn Blanche Chipman, 98, of Pearland, TX passed away peacefully on May 10, 2024 at her home in Pearland, TX. Mrs. Chipman was born January 16, 1926 in Galveston, TX. She has lived in Pearland since 1978. Mrs Chipman worked alongside her husband in the plastic business, Aeroshield and Marco Plastics, for over thirty years. She loved playing golf and was a member of Golf Crest Country Club. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pearland, TX.
Mrs. Chipman is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Caroline Roberts; husband Marvin Chipman; daughter Joyce Holdren; sisters Julia Franklin, Lillian Lukazewski, Joy Mizell, Helen Shaw & Claudine Eckler. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Faulk; sister Dorothy Zullo; brother Claude J Roberts Jr., wife Jan; grandchildren: Katie Clapp, husband Jimmy, Brian Faulk and Marvin Holdren, wife Michelle; great grandchildren: Alston Clapp, Meckenzie Clapp, Madison Clapp, Morgan Clapp, Zack Holdren, Ryan Holdren, Delilah Holdren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to recognize and give sincere gratitude to Dr. Patel for his special care and attention to Mrs. Chipman. In addition, we'd like to express appreciation for the loving care by all her caregivers, especially Maria Cardoso-Herrera, Ana Garcia, Alfreda Williams and the hospice nursing team.
Our Nana will be remembered for her spunkiness, the many blankets she crocheted over the years, her shopping addiction, the love she had for her dog – smokey, playing slots, traveling and playing dominoes. Nana was strong-willed and feisty at times but she had an enormous heart. She loved her friends and family. We know she is teeing it up, playing a round of golf in heaven with the love of her life, Marvin, and laughing with her daughter, Joyce, once again. We will cherish all of the fun times, all of the laughs and the great memories with her.
There will be a visitation from 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Tuesday, May 14 th at Crowder Funeral Home 2422 East Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581. A celebration of life will follow at 1:30pm on Tuesday, May 14 th at Crowder Funeral Home with Pastor Reggie Clemons officiating. The burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Marvin Holdren, Brian Faulk, Jimmy Clapp, Alston Clapp, Zack Holdren, Ryan Holdren and Randy Warner. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. Maneesh Patel, Dwight Favors, Claude J Roberts III, Monte Roberts, David Eckler, Doug Smith and Erin & Robert Steele.
