Carolyn F. Hoepker
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carolyn F. Hoepker (nee Morey), who fell asleep in death on July 19, 2025, at the age of 81. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience, and was cherished by her family and friends.
Carolyn was known for her sweet words, kind heart, warm smile, and genuine love and care of others. Whether you were family, friend, or someone she just met, her joyful spirit, unwavering faith, humility, and a positive outlook on life would shine through. She was a beacon of strength, especially during her 60-year marriage to her beloved husband, Gale.
Her daughters, Karla McCamish and Connie Emmerich, express their deepest love and gratitude for her. She was the best mom they could have ever asked for, and they strive to emulate the example she set for them in their lives.
Born on June 20th, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Henry & Delma Morey. She was a city girl with a country heart, spending her summers deep in the hills of Missouri riding horses and engaging in playful mischief with her twin sister, Marilyn Frazier.
Carolyn was a member of the Belleville South congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She symbolized her dedication to her God Jehovah by being baptized when she was 16 years old on February 6, 1960. Carolyn dearly loved telling others about her faith and teaching about her loving Heavenly Father. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, she believed in the Bible's promise of a resurrection to a paradise earth spoken about in Revelation 21:3-4 - "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
She leaves behind her loving husband Gale Hoepker of Belleville, daughters Karla McCamish of College Grove, TN, Connie (Aaron) Emmerich of Belleville, sister Marilyn (Silver) Frazier of St. Peters, MO, sister-in-law Judy Hoepker of Plum Hill, IL, and many more family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law Tony McCamish and a sister-in-law Nelda Hoepker.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: visitation on Saturday, August 2 from 2 PM until 3 PM with a memorial service at 3 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 3187 Carlyle Ave, Belleville, IL. For those unable to attend in person, you will be able to attend via Zoom at; meeting ID number 862 5538 2255 Passcode Hoepker
