Carolyn F. (Hamm) Listner, 76, of Petersburg, Indiana, passed away at Amber Manor on Friday, October 3, 2025.

She was born on April 7, 1949, to Melvin "Bud" & Velma (Jerrell) Hamm. She married Lonnie Lister, Sr. in 2000, and he preceded her in death in 2013.

Carolyn graduated from Petersburg High School in 1967. She attended Anderson College before transferring and graduating from Oakland City University. She received her Master's Degree from Indiana State University. She retired after 42 years of teaching at Otwell Elementary, and attended Petersburg First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister, Linda Lynxwiler.

She is survived by her step-son Lonnie (Tammy) Listner, Jr., step-grandsons Dylan & Bryce Listner, brother Randy (Karla) Hamm, niece Stacy (Kevin) Huelsman and nephew Jarod Willis, and great nephews Craig Popp & A.J. Huelsman.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown with Pastor Mike Roach officiating.
