Carolyn Fay Long, age 74, of Ashland City, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family.
Carolyn was born on November 1, 1949, to the late Henry Kenneth Demonbreun and Wilma Malvina Osborn Demonbreun. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her uncle, Banyon Osborn; aunts, Zona Craig, Martha Hutton and brother-in-law, William Alberd. She is survived by her sister, Brenda Alberd; aunt, Barbara Brooks; niece, Carla Diane Mosley-Luna (James) and her faithful furry companions, dogs, Otto, Titus, Fred and cat, Luey.
Carolyn was a woman of God. She loved church and her family. She was dedicated and a hard worker, as well as very loving and giving. She would give you the shirt off her back. She loved to knit, and she loved her animals.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, March 22nd, at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Boyd Funeral Home with Chaplain Rod Parchman officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 21st, 2024 at 1:00 PM until 6:30 PM and on Friday, March 22nd, from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Everest of Cheatham Memorial Gardens in Pleasant View. TN.
Pallbearers will be James Luna, Nathaniel Mills, Issac Foster, Tristin Spann, Cameron Franklin, Toby Hieber, Michael Allen and Mike Moore.
