Carolyn Green Sellers, 82, of Macclenny passed from a sudden illness on Monday, October 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 30, 1943 to Mr. Lacy and R.V. (Brannen) Green. Carol worked for many years at the Baker County Federal Credit Union where she formed friendships that would last a lifetime. She then went to work for Johnson & Johnson where she would eventually retire. Ms. Carol had a heart for helping others, so she would go into real estate, helping families find the perfect home. She spent some time with Watson Realty, and was currently working for Elite Realty in Macclenny.
Ms. Carol loved to spend her free time surrounded by family and close friends. She enjoyed dancing and was an avid Florida Gator football fan. Carol was a member of Moose Lodge 2412, where she had a group of amazing friends. Above all, Ms. Carol was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Bonnie (Clifford) Harrington.
She leaves behind two children, Lorinda (Mike) Fish and Gerald (Jessica) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Amy (Jeremy) Cain, Brant (Morrissa) Fish, Kanon Gonzalez, Brandon (Ashely) Gonzalez, Kendall Gonzalez, Jett Knabb, Jolt Knabb, and Jag (Madisyn) Knabb; great-grandchildren, Kayla Collins, Lyric Murphy, Garrett (Abbie) Cain, Julia Cain, Emma Cain, Aybree Gonzalez Amelia Gonzalez, Everleigh Gonzalez, Foster Fish, and Owen Fish; great-great grandchild, Myleigh McKinney; brother, Gene (Judy) Green; as well as nieces, nephews, and family members.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2025 at 12:00 PM at First Christian Church with Pastor Doug Allen officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Manntown Cemetery.
