Mr. Danny Ray “Dat Rat” Sellers, age 64, entered into rest on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at his home. A celebration of life service will be at 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 5, 2025 in the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Jamie Gulledge. The family will greet friends from 3:00 to 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Sellers was born October 29, 1960 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Walter and Bessie Tucker Sellers. Danny was one of a kind and he made an impression on everyone he met. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed working in his garden, keeping up his yardwork, and fishing. He also enjoyed riding his tractors and golf carts down dirt roads and through nature.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Sellers was preceded in death by his siblings, Louise Melton, Bernice Sellers, Randy Sellers, Shelby Hodge, and Billy Tucker.
Survivors include his children, Matthew Brian (Kimberly) Sellers of Goldsboro, NC, Audrey (Caston Crowley) Sellers of Patrick, SC, Bradley (Ashleigh) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC, Victoria (Ryan Northcutt) Sellers of Bidwell, OH; grandchildren, Josh Sellers, Ethan Sellers, Peyton Sellers, Colton Sellers, Addilynn Sellers, Johnny Blaze Northcutt, Avery Ryin Northcutt; siblings, Curtis (Violet) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC, Peggy (Bobby Turner) Hoffman of Chesterfield, SC, Dan Junior (Debbie) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
