Carolyn C. Shourds (nee Santo), 76, of Wenonah, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.
Legacy
Carolyn was a kind and loving woman, generous beyond words, and with a core of steel. She adored her children and grandchildren, outings with her cousins and friends, cherished birthdays, and made Christmas a spectacular event each and every year. Her hobbies included: antiquing; selling on ebay; soap and candle making; Korean dramas, music, and food; and she had a special place in her heart for both cats and llamas. She also owned her own mail-order business: Posh Pet Place. She made the world a brighter and better place, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Family
She is the beloved wife of the late William "Cripps" Shourds, Jr. Devoted mother of William (Crystal), Brian (Donna), and Suzanne (Mark), and Daniel (Eileen); whom she loved as a son. Adored grandmother of Emily, Jacqui, Liam, Levi, Varrick and Alyssa. Dear sister of Susan (late Michael). Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Concetta Santo. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Farewell Tribute
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Sunday March 2nd from 10:00AM to 11:00AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home (Woodbury Location). 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury, New Jersey 08096. Celebration of Life Service at 11:00AM.

Carol's love for her family and friends was overwhelming and from the deepest part of her heart.
My cousin that was more of a big sister or mother. She put the country in a city boy, taught me to love and care for all animals, feed and collect chicken eggs, care for her rabbits, find box turtles in the garden, watch puppies being born and many other things.
Carol is a big loss to anyone that knew her she will always be in my memory. RIP Cuz.
