Publish in a newspaper

Carolyn Tarro, a kind, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully October 13th, 2025. A woman defined by her deep faith and commitment to family, she was born on December 15, 1939, in Rockford, Illinois, to the late Raymond and Iona Hecker.
Carolyn's life was a testament to love and warmth. She was married to the love of her life, Robert Tarro, for 63 wonderful years, serving as his devoted wife until his passing in July 2024. Her greatest earthly joy came from her faith in the Lord and sharing that love with her family. Her kitchen was the true heart of their home, where she spent countless hours cooking and baking the meals and treats that became the foundation of cherished family memories.
She is survived by her loving children: Jeffrey Tarro (Lisa), Christine Clough (Kevin), Anthony Tarro, and Jonathan Tarro (Rachel). Carolyn was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren: Justin Tarro (Shawna), Lane Berkley (Brandon), Kyle Clough (Brandy), Sara Clough, Cameron Clough, Shayla Tarro, Karissa Yoder (Ty), Ashlyn Tarro, Lillian Tarro, and Ezra Tarro; and seven beloved great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Hansen, and was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Iona Hecker, and her husband, Robert.
Carolyn leaves behind a profound legacy of love, warmth, and faith that will be carried on by all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but eternally held in the hearts of her family.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday October 22nd at the Sarasota National Cemetery (Please arrive at 10:45 promptly. Follow the signs to line up- there will be an escort to the Pavilion). Following the service all are invited to a Celebration of Life at 3727 Prado Dr.
