Carolyn and I became friends in 1989 when we taught together at Florence Elementary. I have moved several times since, but we kept in touch. She was one of my first friends in Texas and she loved to show me new places and helped me settle into my new home. I have such fond memories of our day at the Texas State Fair, Austin, numerous restaurants, our trip to Washington DC, and when her and Bruce came to see me when I moved to Missouri. Carolyn loved children, and it was apparent in her teaching, with her family, and with my own children. I will miss her sense of humor and her love for others. She will truly be missed by so many.

We worked with Carolyn at Florence Elementary. She loved teaching and found so many creative ways to make learning fun! We will always hold our sweet memories of her in our hearts. We also know how much Bruce meant to her so please give him our condolences. Debbie and Jeffrey Caine
