Carolyn Jean Wade was born Mary Grace on June 12, 1953, to Charles Williams and Mittie Jones Williams. She attended Rosenwall School in Junction City, Arkansas. Carolyn confessed her faith in Christ and grew up in New Hope CME Church, where she became an usher.
Carolyn Jean Wade was united in holy matrimony to Feliz Wade III, and to this union, two loving daughters were born. Mary and LeShunda.
Years later, Carolyn and her family united with New Home Baptist Church. There she sang with the choir and the New Home Female Chorus. Carolyn and her family changed their membership to the Little Bethel Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Leon Miller Jr. At Little Bethel Baptist Church, the Wade Gospel Family singing group was formed.
Carolyn was a diligent worker. She held many jobs, including cleaning and babysitting. She was a faithful cafeteria worker for the Junction City School District, a cook for Camp DeSoto, and also worked in housekeeping at Medical Center of South Arkansas.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, L.T. and Dale Williams, one sister, Linda Hill, one daughter, Mary Williams, and one granddaughter, Teresa Williams.
Carolyn's memories will be cherished by her husband Felix Wade III, one daughter, LeShunda Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas, one granddaughter, Ashley Jackson, one grandson, Christopher Jackson, two great-grand daughters Brooklyn Henry and McKenzie Burns, one great-grand son Keith Miller, all of El Dorado, Arkansas; two sisters Evangelist Beatrice Rinehart of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Barbara Benjamin (Kevin) of Junction City, Arkansas, three brothers, John Williams (Kay) of Smackover, Arkansas, J.W. Williams (Dorothy); Charlie Williams (Leola) both of El Dorado, Arkansas, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
