Kathy was born on February 9, 1955, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to Ned and Shirley Humble, formerly of Parkers Chapel. She was a member of the El Dorado High School graduating class of 1973. Kathy continued her education at Louisiana Tech University, where she earned both her Associate's and Bachelor's Degrees. She worked for many years as a Crude Oil Analyst for Murphy Oil. In her retirement years, she enjoyed helping others by working at the polls.
Kathy loved playing cards and bingo with her friends. She had a heart for veterans, the elderly, babies, and animals. Those who knew her know she could always be found calling the HOGS whenever they were playing. Above all, she loved spending time with her daughter and being a Nana.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Shirley Humble, formerly of Parkers Chapel. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Haynes (Kenny) of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; her brother, Dale Humble (Jan) of Shreveport, Louisiana; her granddaughter, Mia Kemp of Arkadelphia; and her nephew, Michael Humble (fiancée Dawn) of Shreveport. Kathy was blessed with a few friends she considered her bonus family: Debbie Rimmer (Jim) of Parkers Chapel; Ashley McElwee and Gracie Parker of El Dorado; Emma Wallingsford of Camden; Julie Mantooth (Brian) of Camden; and Marty Turner of Calion.
