Carolyn Morris West

Carolyn Morris West, age 88, of Senoia, Georgia, passed peacefully in her sleep into the presence of her Lord on November 7, 2025. She was born on April 8, 1937, to Ira and Snow Morris in Atlanta, Georgia. Carolyn lived a life filled with faith, love, and kindness. She loved to sing, and taking meals to those in need.
She was a high school cheerleader and Homecoming Queen for Campbell High School. After graduation, she worked many years as a Loan Officer for Fulton Federal Savings and Loan. She was a devoted wife to Mack West for 59 years. In her roles as wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, and friend, her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones. She is preceded in death by her husband Mack; her parents, Ira and Snow Morris; her sister Mary Owenby; and her brothers Ira Morris, Jr., Lawrence Morris, Jack Morris, and Tommy Morris.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Allyson (Mark) Turner of Fayetteville, Brant (Dana) West of Silver Spring, MD, Betsy (Tom) Mason of Canton; her grandchildren, Lauren (Zack) Hambrick, Sarah (Adam) Hambrick, Mitchell West, Julia West, Griffin West, Megan Mason, Savanna Mason, and Marissa Mason. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Benjamin Hambrick, Lily Hambrick, Taylor Hambrick, Jamie Hambrick, and Dawson Hambrick, along with many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Parrott's Funeral Home, with Pastor Aaron Hulse officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm prior to the service.
