Carolyn Shoffner "Susie" Wright

Carolyn "Susie" Shoffner Wright-age 59 of Sharps Chapel passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at home while surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Carrs Branch Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. Preceded in death by parents, Luke and Imogene Shoffner; sister, Debbie Edmondson.
Survivors: sons, James Robert Shoffner; Cody Wayne Wright, both of Sharps Chapel; daughter, Courtney Lynn Wright and fiancé, Eric Houston; former husband, rocky Wright and Brit of Sharps Chapel. Grandchildren, Dakota, Brittany, Milah, Brynleigh, Blaze, Zailynn, Boone and Bowynn. Brother, Mike Shoffner and wife, Chasity; sisters, Marchell (Wig) Myrice and Pete; Jeanine Williams and Ronnie; Stochia Lee Brantley and husband, Ricky; Mary (Reba) Crawford. Special father-in-law, Ralph (Pap) Wright. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 with the funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. Friday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Ricky Brantley officiating with music by Diane Lay.
