Carrol Roberts

Mebane ~ Carrol Ann Wood Roberts, 82, passed away on December 29, 2025 at AuthoraCare Collective Hospice Home in Burlington, NC. She was born on September 7, 1943 to the late James Ebert Wood and Florence Marie Gindt Wood. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Roberts Jr.; brother, James Wood.
Carrol was an Administrative Assistant with the City Manager's office for the City of Durham. She also worked for W.M. Piatt and Company as an Administrative Assistant. Carrol loved spending time on her farm and was an avid animal lover; she especially loved horses and dogs. Carrol also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Roberts is survived by her daughter, Kristy L. Roberts of Mebane; grandchildren Sophie Fitzgerald and Georgia Fitzgerald; sister-in-law, Carol Wood; nephew, Michael Wood, and her beloved dog, Bella.
The family will receive visitors at Clements Funeral Home in Durham on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
