Carroll was born to the late Hazel (Kirchner) and Herman Baldauf in Delphos, Ohio. He was a retired pipefitter and member of UA Local 502 Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Service Technicians.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Heather Allen, and great-granddaughter, Summer.
Carroll is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mickey (Conover) Baldauf; children, Eddie Baldauf (June), Jennifer Buckman (Todd), and George Keene; brother, Lynn Baldauf (Peggy); sister, Pamela Hanley (Michael); granddaughters, Tara, Lacy, Brittney, Dallis, Kayla, Chelsey, Hannah, Kristen, Kelsey, and Madison; great-grandchildren, Gage, Liam, Lucas, Nova, Zylah, Denver, Cohen, Delilah, Emmarie, Colton, Adalynn, Navarie, Jersey, Ocean, Abbie, and London, and honorary great-grandsons, Skyler, and Tyler, and great-great-granddaughter, Jesslyn.
His funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home.
