Woodruff, SC – Carroll Ray Perkins, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 22, 2025. Carroll was the son of the late John and Bessie Bridwell Perkins. He was the loving husband of 59 years to Brenda Bell Perkins. Carroll was a devoted member of Burnsview Baptist Church for 43 years. He lived his life with faith, generosity, and dedication to others. He was also a proud Mason for over 50 years and a Shriner, deeply committed to fellowship and service. Carroll worked as a contractor for 59 years, building countless homes with a passion for quality and a perfectionist's eye. His work left a lasting mark on the community he loved. Beyond his career, Carroll found joy in his garden. He delighted in sharing the fruits and vegetables he grew with family, friends, and neighbors - a reflection of his giving heart. He will be remembered as a hardworking man of integrity, faith, and kindness who freely gave his time, talents, and heart to all. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Deanna Banister (Don); grandchildren, Seth Banister (Kenzie) and Ben Banister; brother, John Perkins (Judy); and his loved nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Arms and Rachel Tucker. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM at Burnsview Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3:30 PM. Pastor Tim Huckaby will officiate. A private interment will be held on Tuesday at Fort Prince Memorial Gardens.
