Mr. Burton was born September 1, 1938 in Magoffin County to the late Lucian and Audra Adams Burton.
He was a foreman at Wald Manufacturing where he retired after 43 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Jeanne Hilterbrand Burton; son, Carson (Laura) Burton Jr.; daughter, Brenda (Clark) Calvert; granddaughters, Jeanne (Joe) Walter, Ashley (Brett) Rinehart, Amber Burton; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Joey Walter, Carson Rinehart.
Also surviving him are two brothers, Larry (Karen) Burton, Marvin (Brenda) Burton; one sister Christine Moore, and several Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister Ersie Pettit and a brother Philip Burton.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2022, at Brell and Son Funeral Home with burial in Fleming County Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
Pallbearers will be Carson Burton Jr., Clark Calvert, John R. Burton, Darrin Burton, Brett Rinehart and Joe Walter.
