Carson is survived by: Wife-Donna, Children-Christi (Derrick) Wright of Indianapolis, IN, and Jarrod (Katie) Slone of Versailles, KY., Grandchildren–Grace Tyndall, Taylor Tyndall, and Tyler Freeman, Brothers-Bethel Slone, Donald Slone, Paul Slone, Odis Slone, Jr, Robert Slone, and Willie Slone, Sisters-Barb Collins, Elouise Howard, Geraldine Smith, and Nevalea Thornsbury.
Carson was preceded in death by his parents, Odis and Sarah Jane Slone, three brothers- Carlos Slone, Ed Slone, and Hayes J. Slone, and one sister, Lydia Slone.
Funeral services for Carson Slone will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church, Jeremiah, KY, with Bill Jones officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Saturday, June 8, at the Letcher Independent Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gideons International, of which Carson was a proud member and representative.
