He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Dean Dotson; Maternal Grandparents: Jesse and Dorothy (Estep) Scarberry; Paternal Grandparents: Flem and Hazel (Scarberry) Dotson.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Howard and Ida Mae (Scarberry) Dotson of Paw Paw, KY; Sons: Timothy (Nichole) Dotson of Paw Paw, KY, Patrick (Katie) Dotson of Lawton, OK, McKenzie (Sierra) Dotson of Fedscreek, KY; Sisters: Annette (Ricky) Barnett of Paw Paw, KY, Regina (Troy) Peters of Raven, VA, Marsha (Jason) Looney of Big Rock, VA, Sally (Brian) Hunt of Stopover, KY.
Also, survived by 4-Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Millfork Freewill Baptist Church of Paw Paw, Tuesday evening at 5:00 P.M. with services at 6:00 P.M.
Funeral Services for CARTER LEE DOTSON will be conducted Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Millfork Freewill Baptist Church with Revs. Ervin Hurley, Ronnie Hurley, Willie Coleman and Kenny Jackson officiating with burial to follow in the Dotson Cemetery on Colley Fork, Paw Paw, KY.
Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
