Carthen was employed by Hudson Valley DDSO in Orange County, NY. He was a member of the Voice of the Gospel Mission Church.
Survivors include his wife Sonnymarie Johnson Davoren at home. His children Taijiamarie Davoren, Carthen A. Davoren Jr., Sonnymarie T. Davoren and Teniya L. Davoren. His grandchildren Carthen A. Davoren III and Lennox J. Davoren. His brother Juan Savage and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Denise Curry and his sister Mary Denise Chapman.
Visitation hours will be held on Friday January 24, 2025, from 11AM to 12PM with a Funeral Service at 12 noon at the Martinez Morse Funeral Home, 33 Railroad Avenue, Middletown, NY 10940. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
