Joseph Firman

Joseph Firman, 78 years old, passed away on September 15, 2025, at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. He was the husband of Joan Firman, who passed away on January 15, 2004. Joseph was born on February 5, 1947, in Middletown, New York. He was the son of the late Joseph Firman and Margurite B. Firman. Joseph Firman graduated from Middletown High School in 1966. He was employed by both Chester Cable and Monroe Wire and Cable as an extruder operator. Soon after graduation, he was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War and served his time in Germany. His favorite activities were hunting and fishing. Joseph will be remembered for his love of family, encouraging his sons, and providing for his family. He survived by his sons Joseph Firman and Douglas Miller, his three grandchildren, Halle Firman, Heather Miller, and Anthony Miller, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition, he is survived by Irene Francois, Mary Lemin, and Chris Damron. He was predeceased by Richard Keesler, Jimmy Firman, George Firman, and his wife, Joan Firman. The viewing will take place on September 18, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. at the Martinez-Morse Funeral Home, located at 33 Railroad Avenue, Middletown, New York. The burial will follow on September 19, 2025, at St. Joseph Cemetery at 111 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY. 10940 at 11:00 AM.
