Cary Dale Tilotta, age 60, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy "Dotsy" Tilotta. Mr. Tilotta is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Angela Hampton Tilotta; daughter, Autumn Tilotta of Flowery Branch; father, Charles Tilotta of Houston, TX; sister, Deanna Tilotta of Houston, TX; brother, Charles Ray Tilotta, Jr of Dacula, GA; mother-in-law, Virginia (Rodney) Wood of Haysville, NC; brother-in-law, Brandon Wood of Haysville; aunt, Pat (Tommy) Mitchell of Houston, TX; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Tilotta was born on February 6, 1965 in Houston, TX. He was a 1983 graduate of Scarborough High School and he was a landscaper.
Cary Tilotta, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, and dear friend to so many, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. To know him was to know kindness, laughter, and a heart that gave endlessly.
Cary was a hardworking man whose hands and heart built a beautiful life for his family. He took great pride in his work. Nature was his happy place, reflecting the warmth and life he carried within him.
Cary had a way of lighting up every room he walked into. He was truly the life of the party. His laughter was contagious, his presence comforting, and his generosity unmatched. Whether lending a helping hand, sharing a story, or simply offering a comforting smile, Cary touched the lives of everyone who knew him.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and compassion that will live on in his family and all who were blessed to know him. His spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those he loved, in the laughter he inspired, in the countless memories he leaves behind.
Though Cary may no longer walk beside us, his light and love will forever guide us. Reminding us to live fully, love deeply, and find joy in every sunrise. Forever loved, forever remembered and never forgotten.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch, GA.
