It's hard to believe you are gone. I am extremely grateful that we shared so much with each other. We shared our speech therapy caseload (never the names of our students), but therapy strategies and methods. You always had something new for me to try to get better outcomes for my students. I'm most grateful for your friendship. You were a person I could count on to give me to me straight. You were always a good listener when I needed to vent or share a funny story. Thank you so much for sharing your children and grandchildren with me. Even though I didn't know them well, your stories about them always left me knowing them a little better. If you ever had any worries or concerns, it was always about them. I remember how mad you would get if a circumstance or a person treated any of them unfairly. My friend, anyone who has ever known you, knew you were loyal to your family, friends, and your students. You will be missed more than I can express in words. I truly hope you are happy in the spirit world, and the one thing I am sure of, you will guide your family through the tough times ahead in navigating their lives without your physical presence. I love you, Caryl, and again, thank you so much for being my friend.
