Daniel (Danny) J. Raville, aged 44, passed away peacefully at Alice Hyde Hospital on September 11, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1980, to Wayne and Mary (McClain) Raville. His proudest achievement was fulfilling his role as father to his daughter, Kaylee Raville. Danny had an infectious smile and lived life to the fullest every day. Danny was widely recognized for his willingness to assist those in need, often extending generosity without hesitation. Danny took pride in his possessions and found great satisfaction in being able to share what he had with others. After his nearly fatal snowmobile accident, an outpouring of support was shown by family and friends. People from near and far gathered to express their love, gratitude, and to share stories of Danny's kindness, generosity, and selflessness. Though Danny enjoyed his brief membership as a member of the Malone Call Firemen. and his time working at Ward Lumber, he found most satisfaction driving trucks for local businesses like North Star Trucking, A & M Beverages, Scott Smith Towing, and Arnold's Oil and Concrete. Danny often returned home with upbeat stories from his day. Danny enjoyed outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, and hunting, and embraced the challenges presented by all seasons. He valued spending time with friends, whether gathered around a campfire, socializing in his shed, playing cards, hockey, horseshoes, or engaging in other group activities that fostered interaction among friends. While Danny maintained close relationships with friends, his pride and primary dedication was always with his daughter, Kaylee. He consistently prioritized her needs and well-being, demonstrating his commitment as a parent and his unwavering love for Kaylee. Danny is survived by his parents, Wayne and Mary (Mimi), and his daughter, Kaylee. His sister and significant other, Janet Mann and Jason Quesnel, his brother and wife, Michael and Jennifer Raville. His nieces and a nephew, Kelsey Griffin, Allison Raville, and Camden and Jada Mann. Danny was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Vernon and Isabel (Kelsey) Raville, his maternal grandparents Harold (Ted) and Gertrude (Hammill) McClain, aunts and uncles, Judith and Theodore Moon, Patricia and Joe Fancher, Harold McClain Jr., William (Billy) Perry, David Allen, Donna Raville and cousins, Thomas McClain Jr. and Pamela Raville Calling hours for Danny are scheduled for Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the St. Mary-Murphy-Wilcox Funeral Home in Malone, New York. A period of prayer will be held at the end of calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Malone Call Firemen.
