I may have never been too close,
But close enough that it still hurts most.
Tears fall like rivers, endlessly flow,
Knowing I´ll never see you.
Missing someone leaves a hollow mark,
A heavy ache, a world turned dark.
But I look to the sky you still make bright,
Even its beauty can´t match your light.
I left you flowers, though it pained me so,
The rain poured down,
I prayed through tears, a quiet plea,
For the love you gave to stay within me.
The flowers will never wither,
Just as the memories of you
Will bloom eternal in my heart.

I remember Casandra being in my freshman orchestra class. She was always quiet and nice to her friends. I never knew her personally but I know she would be the sweetest friend any person can have. I wish Casandra could be here and see us. But Gods taking care of her now and she´s watching us. She´s gonna be watching us when we graduate. Rest easy sweet girl

Casandra became my best friend late into our 7th grade year. It was a rough year for me, but she never made me feel different or weird. She had been my best friend for 5 years almost as of now, and its heartbreaking to know i have to go through the rest of my life without the beautiful girl who kept me going all these years. Casandra was the funniest, most talented person ive met and she was like a sister to me on top of my best friend. She was my rock no matter what the situation was and would have gone to war for me - and i would have done the same for her. i will miss her for the rest of my life and the next. it hurts knowing my future children will never get to meet my best friend, but they will know her through me. they will know her kindness and her consideration, her acceptance and love, her talent, and so much more. i love you casandra

Casandra was so sweet and smart. I was one of her kindergarten teachers. She lit up a room with her smile. Praying for all of you.
