Jane Jackson Harley

Jane Jackson Harley, 80, wife of Phillip "Phil" Harley, Sr of Lyman, South Carolina, passed away January 10, 2026.

A native of Duncan, South Carolina, daughter of the late Earl R. and Maudine Babb Jackson, she was a member of Duncan First Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher, a member of the Celebration Choir, along with multiple roles with the WMU and Greer Baptist Association WMU, as well as The Hope House ministry. She was the Duncan First Baptist church secretary retiring after 35 years of service. She was an All-State basketball player and on teams for the Rebels of James F. Byrnes High School, winning two State Championships and graduating with the Class of 1963.

Surviving are a son, Phil Harley, Jr. of Lyman, South Carolina; a daughter, Susan Howell (Bobby) of Lyman, South Carolina; and two grandchildren, Xander and Sonja Harley.

She was predeceased by a sister, Faye Weaver.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Duncan First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mitch Crow. The Ruth Ann Tucker Sunday School class will serve as honorary escorts. A private burial service will be held.

Visitation will be held 1:30 pm-2:45 pm. Wednesday, January 14, 2026, prior to the service at the church.

The family will be at the home.
