Castranzio Theodore "Ted" Lococo Jr.

Castranzio Theodore "Ted" Lococo, JR gained his heavenly wings on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at the age of 60. He was born in Raceland, Louisiana, on July 24, 1963, the only son of Castranzio "Teddy" and Janet Foret Lococo.
Following his graduation from Central Lafourche High School, Ted first worked as a fitter at Bollinger Shipyard and truck driver for Breaux Oil Company, both in Lockport, Louisiana. He was employed as a diesel mechanic at MPM Diesel in Harahan, Louisiana until his debilitating stroke that occurred on June 10, 2017. He was diagnosed with throat cancer in November of 2022. He loved growing vegetables, telling jokes, and drinking beer.
Ted is survived by his life partner, Tena Babin; his mother, Janet F. Lococo, his daughter, Dominique Lococo Murphy (Zach), two granddaughters, Maryleigh and Annalise; and two sisters–Gaynell Dufrene Aucoin (Keith) and Pauline Lococo Waguespack (Joey).
Ted was preceded in death by his father, C. Teddy Lococo, Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Onofrio "Alfred" and Pauline Tumminello Lococo; his maternal grandparents, Ridley and Amy Mire Foret; and his aunt, Gaynell Theresa Foret.
Arrangements are as follows: A viewing at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, Louisiana, on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 9.00 pm.
A private burial will follow at a later date. Masses preferred over flowers.
