Bobby is survived by his wife of 70 years Carole, children; Bobby (Terry), John, Kathy, and James (Yelonda), nine grandchildren; Hillary, Heather (Ryan), Johnny (Lindsey), Aaron (Ashley), Kevin, Trevor, Cody, Ashley (Parrish), and Alyssa (Thomas), 10 great-grandchildren, Mason, Kendall, Ryan, Jr., Maddie, Gabby, Lilah, Freya, Ryker, Mallory, Caroline, and sister; Helen
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; Howard and Vera Franklin, brothers; Jack and Jim, and sister; Dorothy.
Bobby served in the United States Army military for 26 years and taught ROTC at Thibodaux High School and Central Lafourche High School. He returned to his home state, where he worked for 20 years for the state of West Virginia. He retired one more and returned to Raceland, Louisiana in 2000.
His family would like to thank the staff of Ochsner Medical Facilities for tending to his needs and taking care of him.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
