Dear Angela and family,
I was a speech therapist working in nursing homes when I met Dr. Mire. I admired him, his way with the patients was always kind and thoughtful. I had many referrals from him over the years. He was wonderful work with, always taking an interest in the therapy I gave to his patients.
Angela, I think we briefly worked together at River Oaks nursing home. Please give your family my deepest condolences. May Dr. Mire rest in pease and you be comforted with wonderful memories of him. Sincerely, Margaret Ruffin

Dr Mire and I met in 1998 at Oakwood Village Nursing Home(RiverOaks). I learned so much from him over the years. He was always willing to explain and teach. The residents loved him so dearly. I followed Dr Mire to Family Medicine GME at UMC and really got to see him in action teaching the residents. He will truly be missed.
Rest easy Paw, love Big Momma. Say hello to MS Delores for me.

Glen was a wonderful doctor to my two daughters and it was a great honor to teach his children Math at Lafayette High. He was dearly admired, loved, and respected. My prayers are with his family and all who loved him. Marcella Baudoin, LHS Science/ Math 1967-2004,

Dr. Mire was instrumental in my training for nursing home patients and hospice patients. He and I worked side by side for the majority of my 3rd year in residency. I still use the information and guidance he gave me then. He will be missed dearly and I will always be appreciative of his help and kindness.
