Catalina V. Soto

Catalina V. Soto, 93, of Allenwood passed away peacefully on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Preferred Care of Wall. Catalina was born and raised in Ciales Puerto Rico and graduated high school there as well. She moved to Brooklyn, NY in 1958 and then to Chicago, IL in 1959. She resided there until 1980 when she moved to New Jersey. She worked for Electronic Measurements, Neptune for over 20 years. Catalina loved playing scrabble, watching game shows, police shows, and she especially enjoyed watching Dr. Phil.
Catalina was predeceased by her husband of 30 years Jesus Soto, her parents Chilo and Anastasia Valdarama, and three sisters Armina, Lila, and Crucita. She is survived by her loving sons and their spouses, Angelo and Janice Soto of Ocean Township, NJ, and Daniel and Dorrie Soto of Wall Township, NJ. Catalina was the cherished grandmother of Ashley Soto.
Arrangements are under the care of Orender Family Home for Funerals, Manasquan. All services were private.
