Catherine (Cathy) Ann Aragon, age 80, passed away peacefully, Saturday, February 22, 2025 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico on April 19, 1944 to the late Napoleon Aragon and Josie Aragon. She was a life-long resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico. She graduated from Robertson High School and furthered her education at Luna Community College and New Mexico Highlands University.
Cathy was retired from the Las Vegas City Schools. She loved spending time with family, cooking, crafting, and keeping up the family home. She was a kind-hearted, family-oriented person that always looked forward to family visits. She loved reminiscing about family trips and get-togethers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Napoleon and Josie Aragon; husband: Melaquias Aragon; sisters: Pat Cruz, Dorothy Gonzales
She is survived by her sons: Jason Aragon and wife Loralie of Albuquerque, NM; Fabian Aragon and wife Dannelle of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Antonella Aragon (Jason), Jaya Aragon (Jason), Jodelle Aragon (Fabian)
The family will hold a private service for her and interment will take place at Mount Calvary cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
