Catherine Schepps, a cherished educator and devoted wife, peacefully departed from this life on July 12, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on November 17, 1952, to Peter and Mary Ann (Prior) Hennen, in Paterson, New Jersey,
Cathy was a beacon of love and compassion, whose warmth touched the lives of many.A passionate teacher, Cathy dedicated herself to fostering the minds and spirits of her students throughout her career in education. Her love for learning was matched only by her love for her family. Cathy and her husband, Mark, shared a deep bond, creating countless memories together, including six adventurous cruises to Alaska. Their last cruise together marked a beautiful culmination of shared experiences, filled with laughter and discovery.Cathy was not only a devoted wife but also a loving mother to her daughters, Lindsey and Caitlyn. Despite the geographical distance that often separated her from her family, she cherished each moment spent with them, delighting in the joy of family connections.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Mark, daughters Lindsey Schepps of Surprise, Arizona, Caitlyn Schepps of Phoenix, Arizona, and Daughter in Law, Brittany Born of Surprise, Arizona, as well as her dear brother, Peter R. Hennen of Surf City, New Jersey. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Mary Ann Hennen, who undoubtedly welcomed her into their embrace.
In honoring Cathy's life, her family will hold a memorial service to celebrate her remarkable journey. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather in remembrance and reflection, sharing stories and moments that showcase the impact Cathy had on their lives.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Home, located at 1575 E. Florence Blvd, Casa Grande, Arizona. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, with Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, located at 20615 E Ocotillo Rd., Queen Creek, AZ 85142
Inurnment will take place at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, located at 30 Schoolhouse Rd., Manchester, NJ 08759
Cathy's spirit will be forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to education will undoubtedly live on in the many lives she touched.

Manchester Township, NJ 08759. A funeral mass will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 10:45am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church- All Saints Chapel, 30 Schoolhouse Road,
