Catherine M. Correa

Hampton – Catherine M. Correa, 75, of Hampton, NH, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, July 25, 2024.
Catherine was born on December 17, 1948, in Lowell, MA, to William Greene and Estelle McPolin. Raised in Lowell with her two siblings, she graduated from Keith Hall Catholic High School for Girls in 1966.
Catherine's life took a joyful turn when she met David Correa. They married on October 21, 1972, and together they welcomed three sons. The family first settled in Lowell before moving to Manchester, NH, and eventually to Hampton. The beach held a special place in Catherine's heart; she enjoyed long walks along the shore and down the aisles of the local Walmart, sometimes several times a week. She also cherished outdoor activities, including camping trips to the family camp and memorable road trips, such as the family's visit to Disneyland.
Catherine dedicated 15 years of her career to Exeter Hospital as a Registered Respiratory Nurse, forming close bonds with many of her colleagues before retiring on January 1, 2015.
She is predeceased by her parents, William and Estelle Greene, her younger brother William Greene, and her younger sister Helen McGovern.
Catherine leaves behind her devoted husband, Dave Correa; her three sons, David Correa of Hampton, Michael Correa and his wife Morgan of Hampton, and Adam Correa of Hampton; and her beloved grandchildren, Olivia Fahey, Jacob Correa, and Madison Correa.
Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Catherine's life at The Old Salt Restaurant, 490 Lafayette Rd., Hampton, NH for brunch on Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 11:00 AM-2:00 PM. Please use the RSV button bellow under events, to let the family know you will be joining them.
