Catherine Fair Obituary

It is with heavy hearts but also with immense love that we announce the passing of the incredible Catherine (Kay) Fair, who graced us with her presence for 94 beautiful years. Catherine journeyed through this life from May 3, 1931, in St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada, to her peaceful departure on February 21, 2026, in her beloved home in Indianapolis.

Catherine was full of love and warmth, always caring for those around her, primarily as a dedicated homemaker. Married to her dear husband, Harvey, a proud member of the United States Air Force, she embraced the life of a military wife with grace and enthusiasm. Together, they shared countless adventures and memories that shaped their incredible family life.

Catherine's generous heart extended beyond her family. She poured her life into various volunteer organizations throughout Indianapolis, always ready to lend a helping hand. As a devoted member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, her faith shone bright, guiding her kindness and compassion.

Known for her welcoming nature, Catherine had a unique ability to make each person feel special. She cherished being a host, turning her home into a sanctuary of laughter, friendship, and love, ensuring no one ever felt left out.

Catherine is survived by her children, Beverly Karen McMeans, Denise (Steven) Bohnert, Carolyn (Stephen) Boyle, and Tina Sullivan; Sister, Linda Greige; Grandchildren, Kelly (Steve) Graves, Heather (Todd) Colwell, Christopher (Stefanie) Bohnert, Brittany (Hamilton) Clark, April (Nick) Waterhouse, Kelsey (Daniel) Ledbetter, and Tracy Sullivan; She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
