To all those closest to Catherine, she was known for her larger-than-life personality and infectious laughter and smiles especially when on the dance floor or singing her favorite songs! She had a beautiful way of embracing everyone with her compassionate nature. She devoted her life to her husband and their seven children. With her young children in school, Catherine became a nurse's aide where she could tenderly care for others.
Catherine is survived by her loving children – Thomas (Kathleen) Tacconelli, Richard Tacconelli, Patricia (Tony) Burchess, Joseph (Anne) Falcone, John (Christine) Falcone, and son-in-law, Scott Light; her beloved grandchildren, Thomas (Jeannie), Cathy, Jason (Sara), Alison, David, Erica (Vincent), Stephanie (Michael), Bridget (Jordan), Nicole, and Dominick, as well as great-grandchildren, Bella, Emily, Patrick, Rogen, Alexandria, Michael, and Maclean, and her sisters, Margie Finegan and Gloria Dougherty.
Catherine enjoyed going to the casinos, especially in Atlantic City, and watching her favorite tv shows - Law and Order, Let's Make a Deal, and The Price is Right. She will be eternally remembered as a strong woman, devoted to her faith, family, and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughters, Catherine Lively and Margaret Light, and sister, Mary Woodring.
Family and friends are invited to Catherine's Life Celebration on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm at Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, 378 South Bellevue Avenue, Langhorne PA 19047, and again on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 10:00-11:00am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 225 Bellevue Ave, Penndel, PA 19047. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00am.
Interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
