Catherine "Kay" Fiesel, longtime resident of Point Lookout, New York passed away peacefully Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 at the age of 97. Kay was born in the Bronx, New York on March 27, 1928, where she was raised. Daughter of Vincent and Catherine Choucherie, Kay met the love of her life, James "Jim" Fiesel during his time as a lifeguard in Long Beach. The couple were married for 69 years until Jim's passing in 2022. Kay began her career as a secretary for Borden Inc. in New York City. After raising her three children, Kay joined her husband in ownership of Laue Brothers Wall Coverings. Kay's energetic and cheerful presence was a key factor in her success as a business owner, as well as in her personal relationships. Throughout her life, Kay fostered friendships that lasted a lifetime, a testament to her innate loyalty, authenticity, and care for others. Above all, Kay's devotion and love for her husband, children, and grandchildren defined much of her life. Her strong sense of faith and dedication as a member of Lady of our Miraculous Medal Church in Point Lookout served as an example to those around her. She enjoyed cooking for others, watching the Yankees with her husband, playing cards with friends and grandchildren, and bringing people together. She is survived by her three children; Karen and her husband Bill, Kathleen and her husband John, and James A. III and his wife Christine. As well as her seven grandchildren Elizabeth, Emily, James A. IV, William, Cailey, Alexandra, and Margaret. And her five great grandchildren, James A. V, Rose, Jane, Devon, and Jack. Those who knew and loved her will hold onto memories of laughter, togetherness, and most of all, fun. Services will be held on Saturday, August 23rd at 10am at Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Point Lookout, New York. Funeral arrangements are being coordinated by Christopher T. Jordan Funeral Home in Island Park, NY.
