Catherine R Hebert, 71, passed away unexpectedly Friday April 4, 2025.

She was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 6, 1954 and graduated from Catholic Memorial High School. In her early years she worked for her father at Tractor Transport, while taking care of the animals at the family farm. Due to her bubbly personality, she was recruited by a traveling salesman to go into an insurance sales career with the Hebert Agency. She excelled and won several sales awards over the years. She was then recruited to be the boss’s wife and Tom and Cathy became one. For the next 26 years they cared lovingly for each other and were always by each other’s side.

Cathy enjoyed golf, shopping, her flower garden, (even if some plants died), traveling to Jamaica and especially, spending as much time doing anything she could with Ashley and Emily! Drinking coffee and visiting with family and friends was also at the top of the list!

Cathy is the beloved wife of Thomas A Hebert, dear mother of Amanda (Cory) Schellinger and Jason Gleaser. Proud grandmother of Ashley and Emily Schellinger. Cathy is also survived by her brothers and sisters: William (Patsy) Marish, Helen Cramer, Edna Matzelle, Edith Nowicki, Mary Ann Lange, Wilma (Patrick) Quinn, Carl (Judy) Marish and Joanne (Paul) Jamrozy; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that will miss her laugh, smile and singing.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary Ann Marish. Her brother Ronald Marish and sister-in-law Kathleen Marish. Brothers-in-law Jack Nowicki Sr., Michael Lange Sr. and Jim Cramer Sr. and other loved family.

If you were fortunate enough to talk to her or hear her laugh, you would never forget it! She was full of kindness and courage without finding criticism towards anyone, only positive thoughts. The world was a better place with Cathy in it. She will be deeply missed by her family especially her husband Tom, her best friend. She will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home on Wednesday April 16, 2025, from 12:00-2:00 pm with a service to follow.
