Mrs. Catherine Turner "Cathy" Hill

Mrs. Catherine "Cathy" Turner Hill, who was 67 years old, sadly passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Cathy was born Atmore, Alabama, and spent her most of her life in Poarch, Alabama. She was a proud member of Poarch Band of Creek Indians. She was a devoted member of the Friendly Holiness Church, where she contributed her time and spirit to her community. Her kindness and warm presence will be missed by all who knew her.

She had a deep passion for hunting with Willard, cherishing the time spent outdoors and the thrill of the chase. Shopping was another joy of hers, especially browsing through the offerings on QVC, where she loved finding new treasures. Her faith was important to her, as she enjoyed attending church and watching services on television when she couldn't be there in person. In her downtime, she liked to watch wrestling and catch episodes of Law and Order. Traveling with the tribe brought her happiness, whether it was adventures in the mountains or trying out new restaurants. Above all, she treasured moments spent with family and friends. With her skill in cooking, she often delighted loved ones with her delicious meals.

Mrs. Hill is preceded in death by her parents, Avery Edward (Louise McGhee) Turner; husband, Willard Hill; nephew, Joey McGhee.

She is survived by her loving sons, Nick and wife Kim Hill of Poarch, Alabama and Ben and wife Lindzie of Millbrook, Alabama; two brothers, Edward Turner of Nokomis, Alabama and Allen and wife Michelle Turner of Huxford, Alabama; sister, Christine and husband Ray Ward of Poarch, Alabama; ten grandchildren, Ty, Taylor, Alia, Trista, Taya, Gavin, Sandler, Sy, Scottie, and Slate; 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Friendly Holiness Church with Brother Ray Ward officiating.

Burial will follow at New Home Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at Friendly Holiness Church from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Friendly Holiness Church.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Albritton, Olan Albritton, Jeremy McGhee, Mike McGhee, Josh Turner, Trenton Daughtry, Kenny Williams, and Phillip Turner.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew McGhee, Clint Ramer, Mark McGhee, Eddie Ramer, Wendell Ramer, Anthony Rolin and Ronnie McGhee.
