Catherine C. Lamczyk, 90, of Caseyville, IL passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 surrounded by family members. Catherine was born on December 24, 1932 in Collinsville, IL to parents, Jerome and Cleta Mae Scaglione (nee Holeman).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome and Cleta Mae Scaglione; her husband, Stephen Lamczyk; her second husband, Robert Wessels; her sister, Beatrice (Betty) Scaglione; brother, Jerome (Jerry) Scaglione; sister, Sally Eaves; and brother, Thomas Scaglione.
Those left to cherish her memory include her half-brother, Kenneth (Kenny) Scaglione of Duquoin, IL; sister, Jacqueline Minney of Long Beach, CA; daughters, Carolyn (Robert Juett) of Walton, KY and Mary Glascock of Irmo, SC; sons, Tom (Sue) Lamczyk of St. Charles, MO, Paul (Rocio) Lamczyk of Chesapeake, VA, and Philip Lamczyk of St. Louis, MO; step-children, Don and Sandy Wessels of Caseyville, IL; and Terry Wessels of Caseyville, IL; seven grandchildren, Nathan and Adrienne Juett; Jacob and Molly Lamczyk; Stephen and Emily Lamczyk; Grace Glascock; two great-grandchildren, Katherine and Elizabeth; her many surviving extended family members; work friends from Martha Manning, Famous Barr, Macy's and those that she has known throughout the years.

The Celebration of Life service with a Mass will be held on Saturday March 4,10:00 am at St Stephen's in Caseyville Il.
A brunch will be held next door in Voigt Hall afterwards.
