Ms. Dorothy M. Lamczyk of Ashley, IL, departed this life at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She had attained the age of 80 years, 2 months and 28 days.

Dorothy was born on September 6, 1945, in Washington County, IL, the daughter of Edward and Martha (Gajewski) Piasecki, Sr. She was united in marriage to Eugene Lamczyk, Sr. on April 30, 1966, in Posen, IL and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2024.

Dorothy regularly attended St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL and St. Ann Catholic Church in Nashville, IL. Dorothy enjoyed tending to her flowers, going fishing, playing pinochle and spending time with her cherished family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Left to mourn her passing are her 2 sons, Mike Lamczyk and wife Valerie of Ashley, and Gene Lamczyk and wife Mindy of Ashley, IL; 5 grandchildren, Kaelynn (Drew Dalman) Lamczyk, Kane (Hannah) Lamczyk, Kyle (Brittnie) Lamczyk, Andrew and Cali Lamczyk; 2 great grandchildren, Olivia Lamczyk and Carter Lamczyk; brother, Edward (Mary) Piasecki of Nashville, IL; 3 sisters, Mary Jane (Harold) Combs of Nashville, Rose Lynn (Jeff) Ceglinski of Ashley and Nancy (Michael) Bejma of Ashley; godchild, Kay Morgan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Michelle McCormack and brother, Raymond (Joyce) Piasecki.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom, IL on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10:30 A.M. with Fr. Benny George officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the St. Michael Catholic Church in Radom on Friday from 8:30 A.M. until the service hour.

Should friends desire, mass offerings or memorials may be made to the St. Michael Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
