Jerome Jablonski Obituary
Mr. Jerome Jablonski of Ashley, IL departed this life at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia, IL on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 2:48 A.M. He had attained the age of 65 years, 5 months, and 5 days.
Jerome was born in Centralia on June 23, 1960, the son of Joseph Sr. and Juanita (nee Smith) Jablonski. He was united in marriage to Lisa Scarber on July 11, 2025, and she survives his passing.
Jerome was known for his skilled hands and passion for carpentry and woodworking, a craft he used to touch many lives. He found joy in spending time with family and friends, often around a pool table or gathered around a bonfire. His legacy is one of craftmanship, warmth, and connection, leaving behind fond memories for all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Lisa, Jerome is survived by his daughter, Stacey (Josh) Giacomo of Oakdale, IL; his son, Jacob (Liliana) Jablonski of DuQuoin, IL; his grandchildren, Gage Giacomo, Jazlynn Giacomo, Jackson Jablonski, Elena Taylor, Lillie Taylor, Marcy Taylor, Mason Cox, and Scarlett Taylor. He is also mourned by his siblings, James (Rita) Jablonski of Dubois, IL, Jeffery (Jeanine) Jablonski of Crossville, TN, Judith Booten of Benton, IL, Jonathan (Dawn) Jablonski of Ashley, Jason (Jane) Jablonski of Nashville, IL, Jaycee (Mike) Faries of East Carondelet, IL, Joan Jablonski of Benton, Justin (Julie) Jablonski of Nashville, and Jared Jablonski of Fairview Heights, IL and sister-in-law, Leona Jablonski; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Janet Burke; a brother, Joseph Jablonski Jr. and three nieces.
His memory will live on through the love he shared with his family, his work, and the many lives he touched throughout his life.
In accordance with the wishes of Jerome and his family, cremation will be performed and a celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shriner's Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
