Late of New Jersey, USA
Formerly of Cathal Brugha Street, Waterford

Catherine passed away peacefully on August 30th, 2025.

Predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret, her brothers Mickey, John Joe, and Gerard, and her sister Margaret.

Catherine will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her children Shannon and Clayton; her adored grandsons Aidan, Finn, Cobh, and Nolan; her brothers Tommy and Martin; her sisters Dolly, Carmel, and Bernie. She will be fondly remembered by her in-laws, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, her former work colleagues, extended family, neighbors, and many dear friends.

Catherine devoted her life to working with children at Am-Tree Nursery School in Montvale and Highland Elementary School in Midland Park, where she touched countless young lives with kindness and care. She cherished time spent shopping, searching for treasures at garage sales, enjoying fashion, and sharing laughter with friends at Crestwood Lake in Allendale.

A true warrior, Catherine faced the challenges of bone marrow transplant complications with courage and grace. She was forever grateful to her donor, whose generosity gave her four more precious years of life to spend with those she loved.

Her warmth, humor, and generosity will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Catherine's memory to Be The Match / NMDP, an organization dedicated to saving lives through marrow and stem cell donation.
