Catherine (Cassie) Winifred McLaughlin passed away at home on March 13th.

Cassie was the cherished daughter of the late James P. McLaughlin Sr. and Lillian (Babe) McLaughlin (nee George). She was the loving sister of the late James P. McLaughlin Jr. She is survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Helen (Sissy) McLaughlin who Cassie lovingly referred to as "Big Hon". Cassie is survived by her adoring nieces and nephews, Colleen Mathews (Greg), Maureen, Helene Custren (Jim), James P. III (Debbie), Joseph, Michael (Bill), Kathleen Malin, (Bill); also by her 15 loving great nieces and nephews, and her 7 great-great nieces and nephews.

Cassie was born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia then moved to Academy Gardens. Cassie loved listening to her favorite radio station WOGL 98.1. She had a love for cats and turtles. She loved to dance and take pictures with her camera. Cassie was a sweet soul who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Cassie's viewing Wednesday, March 20, 10:00 AM at St Jerome Church, 8100 Colfax St., Philadelphia, 19136; Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM, interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a donation in Catherine's memory can be made to St. Jerome Church.
