Richard James Forte, 79, resident of The Terrace at the Glen, Queensbury, NY passed away at Glens Falls Hospital on March 16, 2025. Born on August 12, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA. Son to the Late Nicholas and Josephine Forte (nee Blescia). Loving and devoted husband to the Late Jacquelyn(nee Simoncini / Bordone). Beloved dad to: Ronald, Lisa (Ryan), Michele (Dan), Anthony, and John (Linda). Pop-Pop to: Rachael, Lauren, Richard, John, Nicholas, Ethan, Sydney, Cecylia and soon to be Great Grandson: Mason Quinn-Bordone. Beloved Brother to Joseph (Beth) Forte. Many friends from Pete’s Clown House Restaurant, St. Joan of Arc Parish, and Pickwick St. where he lived for many years with his loving wife and family. Moving to The Terrace at the Glen Assisted Living in Queensbury to be closer to his daughter where he loved going to the Rosary group, bingo, and being on the Resident Committee. Proud to be a Veteran of the US Navy and later worked for the Veterans Administration until he retired in 2004.
Relatives and Friends are invited to Richard’s viewing Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 9:00 AM at St. Joan of Arc Church, 2025 E. Atlantic St. , Philadelphia, PA 19134. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM, interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA.
