Edward J. McLaughlin, age 77, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025. Beloved husband of Ellen (nee Crossley). Loving father of Stephanie Devlin (Brian), Melanie McLaughlin, Jeffrey McLaughlin (Kelly) and Bethanne Briggs (John). Dear grandpop of Jessica, Matthew, Timmy, Koyla, Anastasia, Max, Dasha, Megan, Katie, Connor, Krysta and the late Allyson and Amanda. Great grandpop of Amanda, Aiden, Maverick, Aubree and Peyton. Ed is also survived by brothers, sisters and their families. Edward was a proud graduate of North Catholic High School Class of 1966. He worked during his life at the Frankford Arsenal, Navy Yard and at Norfolk Southern. He really enjoyed attending his yearly high school reunions.
Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 beginning at 10am at St. Ephrem Church, 5400 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020. His funeral mass will begin at 11am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ed's memory to Shriner's Childrens Hospital (shrinerschildrens.org) or to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org) would be appreciated by his family.
