Catherine Nell "Kay" Miller
October 24, 1958 – October 12, 2025
Catherine Nell "Kay" Miller, 66, of Howe, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025. She was born on October 24, 1958, in Denison, Texas, to Eva Nell Owens and Loy Ray Harvey, who preceded her in death.
Kay was a spirited and loving woman who cherished her family, fast cars, rock and roll, animals, and gardening. She had a magnetic personality that brought joy and laughter to everyone she met, and she never passed up a good time.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Miller; her children, Annette Haliburton (husband Kenneth Haupert) and Bobby Haliburton (wife Stephanie Haliburton); her grandchildren, Mercedes Ruiz (husband Eddie Ruiz), Nicole Thomas, Kenneth Haupert, Caden Bowden, Heather Drinnion, and Anthony Haupert; Akillez Melton and her great-grandchildren, Aliyah Polk, Kynlee Thomas and Mia Ruiz.
She is also survived by her stepdaughters, Leigh Ann Walter (husband Dave) and Darla (husband Paul); her brothers, Cornell Harvey and Bob Swartz; her half-siblings, Thomas Ham, Jerry Ham, and Tammy Hare her nieces and nephews, Stephanie Sutherland, Natasha, Johnny Ray Sutherland, and Tommy Sutherland.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Cathy Harvey and Connie Harvey; and her brothers, Loy Harvey, Raylynn Harvey, and Heath Harvey.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th, at 2:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, Texas. Burial will follow at Pilot Grove Cemetery. A family visitation will take place on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Waldo Funeral Home.
Kay will be remembered for her fierce love, fun-loving spirit, and the kindness she so freely shared.
