Catherine Ann Peeples, 65, of West Point, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Ms. Peeples was born May 27, 1959, in Miami, Florida and lived in the Atlanta area before making her home in Troup County. A graduate of the Georgia Baptist Hospital Nursing School, she served as a registered nurse at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta for many years and then served as the special needs nurse for the Fulton County Board of Education for more than ten years. She had been an EMT and Paramedic instructor and had also served as a volunteer firefighter for the Fulton County Fire Department. Catherine was a Christian woman, loved gardening and tending her plants, and enjoyed cooking. Most of all, her world revolved around her love for her daughter, Kaitlin, and her granddaughters, Adaleigh and Anslee.
Survivors include her daughter, Kaitlin Peeples and her granddaughters, Adaleigh Peeples and Anslee Dutton, all of West Point; her mother, Sandra Peeples and her sister, Donna Ladd, both of Blue Ridge; several nieces and nephews; and dear friends, Bob and Brenda Ullom and Mary Jo Wilson. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Delano Peeples; and her brother, Raymond Donald Peeples.
A memorial service is not being planned at this time.
